Do and don’t#

Do

  • Use the script vx mark on its own. It is the whole logo.
  • Keep one accent per view: electric blue, and nothing else.
  • Set the mark in white, cobalt or ink, and nothing else.
  • Write the name in sentence case: Vex, in running text.
  • Give the mark clear space on every side, at least its own loop height.
  • Use fine rules and restrained 2–3px corners for the site interface.

Don’t

  • Never typeset the name as a logo. The mark is the only mark.
  • Never recolor the mark: no gradients, no tints, no reduced opacity.
  • Never put a shadow behind it; shadows belong to floating layers only.
  • Never stretch, rotate, outline or crop the mark.
  • Never place the white mark on a light ground, or ink on cobalt.
  • Keep editorial headings in sentence case. Small uppercase labels use the sans-serif face.
